The Colorado Avalanche have welcomed back forward Artturi Lehkonen, who had been on injured reserve following shoulder surgery. The 29-year-old showcased his skills during the playoffs, scoring 11 points in 11 games, and previously tallied 34 points in the regular season.

Lehkonen has a total of 243 points in his NHL career, split between the Montreal Canadiens and the Avalanche, where he celebrated a Stanley Cup victory in 2022. Meanwhile, the Avalanche have sent rookie Ivan Ivan to their AHL affiliate, the Colorado Eagles.
