The 23-year-old, who hails from Oulu, Finland, logged 8:54 of ice time and recorded one hit in his first game. Hyry, who went undrafted, was signed by the Stars as a free agent in April after an impressive training camp performance.

Before his call-up, Hyry spent time with the Texas Stars, where he amassed 26 points in 29 games, including a remarkable 10-game point streak. His debut comes as the Stars face injuries to key forwards Tyler Seguin and Mason Marchment, adding urgency to the team's roster decisions.
