Ryan O’Reilly's stellar performance, scoring two goals in a critical three-minute span, propelled the Nashville Predators to a 4-1 victory over the Dallas Stars, ending an eight-game losing streak.

O’Reilly also assisted on an empty-netter by Zachary L’Heureux, while Tommy Novak added another goal. Justus Annunen made 37 saves for his first win with Nashville after joining from the Colorado Avalanche.

Lian Bichsel scored for Dallas in his NHL debut, but the team saw its four-game home winning streak come to an end.
