Tanner Howe, the Penguins' 46th overall pick in the 2024 NHL Entry Draft, has been traded from the Regina Pats to the Calgary Hitmen, along with Corbin Vaughn. Despite the trade, his NHL rights remain with Pittsburgh. Howe, who served as captain of the Pats, signed a three-year entry-level contract with the Penguins this summer and has showcased his scoring ability with six goals and seven points in ten games this season. Over his WHL career, he has recorded 98 goals and 240 points in 217 games, and he participated in his first Penguins training camp this pre-season.
