St. Louis Blues defenseman Philip Broberg is set to be sidelined for four to six weeks due to a right leg injury. Coach Drew Bannister provided an optimistic update, noting that the injury could have been much worse.
Broberg sustained the injury during a game against the Toronto Maple Leafs when he collided with Mitch Marner. The Blues are already dealing with multiple injuries, including Robert Thomas's broken ankle and Torey Krug's season-ending surgery.
Scott Perunovich is expected to fill in for Broberg as the team aims to maintain performance despite the setbacks.
