Christian Wolanin's time with the Sabres was notably brief; after being claimed off waivers from the Kings, he played just one game for Buffalo before being placed back on waivers. Since then, he has been with the Vancouver Canucks organization, primarily competing in the AHL. Last season, he recorded five goals and 29 points in 42 games for the Abbotsford Canucks.
