At 27 years old, Kolesar is in his sixth season with the team, having joined from the Columbus Blue Jackets in 2017. This season, he has scored 11 points and leads the team in hits, showcasing his physical play.

Throughout his career, he has played all 304 NHL games with the Golden Knights, accumulating 83 points.
