The Minnesota Twins have traded left-handed reliever Jovani Moran to the Boston Red Sox in exchange for utilityman Mickey Gasper. Moran, who missed the entire 2024 season due to Tommy John surgery, had a 5.31 ERA in 2023.

Gasper, 29, made his major league debut last season, appearing in 13 games with the Red Sox. He had a strong minor league season, batting .328 with 12 home runs and 58 RBIs, making him a valuable addition to the Twins' roster.
