The Boston Red Sox have made a strategic move to enhance their pitching lineup by acquiring left-handed pitcher Jovani Morán from the Minnesota Twins. In exchange, the Twins receive catcher and infielder Mickey Gasper.
Morán, who has a career ERA of 4.15 over 79 games, missed the previous season due to Tommy John surgery. Gasper, a switch-hitter, made his MLB debut last year with Boston, appearing in 13 games.
