Miami Dolphins owner Stephen Ross is reportedly in advanced negotiations to sell a 10% stake in the franchise and associated assets, including Hard Rock Stadium and the Miami Grand Prix, to Ares Management, valued at $8.1 billion.
Additionally, Joe Tsai, owner of the Brooklyn Nets and New York Liberty, is looking to acquire a further 3% stake. This marks a significant shift as it would be the first instance of a private equity firm taking advantage of the NFL's new ownership rules.
