The Atlanta Falcons have signed safety Benny Sapp III to their practice squad, replacing veteran safety Dane Cruikshank, who was released after multiple stints with the team this season.
Sapp, previously with the Green Bay Packers, brings experience from five games last season, primarily on special teams. He had a notable college career at Northern Iowa, showcasing his defensive skills.
Despite Cruikshank's ups and downs, he played two games this season without recording a tackle.
