Riley Patterson has been signed to the Falcons' practice squad as a contingency plan for Younghoe Koo, who is dealing with a right hip injury. Patterson has an impressive career record, having made 59 of 67 field goals and 97 of 100 extra points. He was originally signed by the Vikings in 2021 and has since played for several teams, including the Patriots, Lions, Jaguars, Browns, Commanders, and Jets. To make room for Patterson, the Falcons released safety Dane Cruikshank from the practice squad.
