The Chicago Bears have signed wide receiver Devin Duvernay to a one-year contract, adding him to a receiving corps that already includes DJ Moore and second-year player Rome Odunze. Duvernay, who previously spent four seasons with the Baltimore Ravens and played last year for the Jacksonville Jaguars, is known as a dynamic return specialist and was a third-round pick out of Texas. He has earned Pro Bowl honors twice and was a First-Team All-Pro in 2021.

During his collegiate career, Duvernay showcased his talent by leading the Big 12 in receptions and yards in his senior year, ultimately finishing with 176 receptions for 2,468 yards and 16 touchdowns. His first NFL touchdown was notable for being a 93-yard kickoff return, exemplifying his explosive playmaking ability. The Bears hope he can enhance their special teams while also providing depth at wide receiver, especially in light of Keenan Allen's anticipated departure.
