The Houston Texans have placed standout wide receiver Nico Collins on injured reserve due to a hamstring injury sustained during their recent victory over the Buffalo Bills.
Collins, who leads the NFL with 567 receiving yards and has three touchdowns this season, was on track for an impressive 2,000-yard year before the injury. The Texans will now depend on Stefon Diggs, Tank Dell, and Dalton Schultz to step up in his absence.
Collins is expected to be sidelined for at least four weeks. In a related move, the Texans have signed tight end Teagan Quitoriano from the practice squad.
