The Pittsburgh Steelers have declined the fifth-year options for running back Najee Harris and quarterback Justin Fields, making them free agents after the 2024 season. Harris is the first Steelers player to rush for 1,000 yards in each of his first three seasons.

Harris had his best season in 2023, averaging 4.1 yards per carry with eight rushing touchdowns. The team also saw improvement in their run game, finishing 13th in the league last season.
