The Cleveland Browns are set to face off against the Miami Dolphins at Huntington Bank Field, but quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson will be without several key players. The team has officially ruled out tight end David Njoku, who has been plagued by injuries throughout the season. Njoku's latest setback is a knee injury sustained during the game against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 16, which has kept him off the practice field all week. This is not the first time Njoku has faced injury woes this season; he previously missed three games due to an ankle injury in Week 1 and was sidelined in Week 15 due to a hamstring issue.
In addition to Njoku, defensive end Ogbo Okoronkwo has also been ruled out for Week 17 due to a persistent knee injury that has hindered his participation in practice. This situation opens the door for young pass rusher Isaiah McQuire to step up, as he has been rotating with Okoronkwo alongside star Myles Garrett since the trade of Za'Darius Smith earlier in the season. Furthermore, wide receiver Cedric Tillman will miss his fifth consecutive game as he continues to navigate the concussion protocol, despite limited practice participation this week following his injury in Week 12.
