The Cleveland Browns are considering signing veteran pass rusher Aaron Lynch, who last played in 2020 for the Jacksonville Jaguars. Lynch, a former fifth-round pick of the San Francisco 49ers, had a standout season in 2015 with 6.5 sacks in 14 games.

The Browns had the top defense in the NFL last year, allowing just over 270 total yards per game, the fewest since the 2014 Seahawks. They also had a high three-and-out percentage and ranked sixth in sacks as a team.
