Demetrius Flannigan-Fowles of the San Francisco 49ers has been fined $10,750 for an unnecessary roughness penalty following a hit during a game against the Dallas Cowboys.
The incident occurred during a punt return, where Flannigan-Fowles appeared to lead with his helmet. Although no penalty was called during the game, the NFL reviewed the play and imposed the fine.
Meanwhile, the league is still deliberating on whether to fine teammate Nick Bosa for wearing a controversial hat post-game.
