The Dallas Cowboys made their first acquisition of the new league year by re-signing long snapper Trent Sieg. Recently, they signed linebacker Eric Kendricks and re-signed cornerback Jourdan Lewis. Lewis overcame a significant foot injury and returned to play in 2023.

The return of Lewis likely means DaRon Bland will remain an outside cornerback in 2024. Bland replaced Trevon Diggs after an ACL injury and had a remarkable season with nine interceptions, including five returned for touchdowns.
