Lucas Krull, a tight end for the Denver Broncos, left the preseason game against the Colts due to a toe injury. Although he was carted off for X-rays, he returned to the sideline later in the game.

Krull is currently the third tight end on the roster, following Adam Trautman and Greg Dulcich. Despite an impressive offseason, he struggled in the game, finishing with four catches for 31 yards and losing a fumble.
