The Denver Broncos have designated running back Audric Estime and cornerback Damarri Mathis to return from injured reserve, allowing them 21 days to activate them to the 53-man roster. Both players practiced fully on Wednesday and are eligible to play in Week 6.
Estime, a rookie from Notre Dame, had been sidelined due to an ankle injury from Week 1. He is expected to support the backfield alongside Javonte Williams. Mathis, who has been out with an ankle injury since the preseason, will compete for the cornerback role opposite Patrick Surtain II.
