Following a preseason game, Cardinals backup quarterback Desmond Ridder entered the concussion protocol but has since cleared it.

Head coach Jonathan Gannon confirmed that Ridder is now out of the protocol.

He was injured by Broncos linebacker Dondrea Tillman during the game.

Ridder and Clayton Tune are vying for the No. 2 quarterback position behind Kyler Murray.
