The Denver Broncos have announced the promotion of running back Blake Watson from the practice squad due to Jaleel McLaughlin's injury ahead of their game against the Los Angeles Chargers.

Watson, who went undrafted after a standout season at Memphis, is expected to serve as the third running back behind Javonte Williams and Audric Estime. Broncos head coach Sean Payton praised Watson's development and unique skill set, highlighting his power and ball skills.
