Quinton Newsome, an undrafted rookie out of Nebraska, has been signed to the Broncos' practice squad after competing through the offseason training program, training camp, and preseason. At 6-foot-1 and 185 pounds, he earned All-Big Ten honorable mention last year, starting 10 games and recording 37 tackles, three passes defensed, one interception, and one fumble recovery. His addition provides the Broncos with crucial depth at cornerback, especially with Patrick Surtain II in concussion protocol and not expected to play against the Saints.
