The Denver Broncos have made roster adjustments ahead of their Week 4 matchup against the New York Jets. They have promoted linebacker Levelle Bailey and defensive back Tanner McCalister from the practice squad to the active roster.
Bailey, an undrafted rookie from Fresno State, impressed during the preseason and secured a spot on the initial 53-man roster. McCalister, in his second year and a former Ohio State player, contributed on special teams last week in a victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Due to injuries, including the season-ending loss of linebacker Alex Singleton, the Broncos are reshuffling their lineup. They recently signed Kwon Alexander and Zach Cunningham to the practice squad, though neither will play this week. Bailey, familiar with the team's scheme, is expected to step up in their absence.
