The Jaguars have finally signed kicker Joey Slye after being spurned by Wil Lutz. Slye, known for his strong leg, will compete with Riley Patterson for the team's starting kicker role.

Slye struggled with extra points in 2023, hitting just 91.4%. The 27-year-old former Commanders kicker has impressive long-range field goal stats, which may give him an edge over Patterson.
