Detroit Lions running back Jahmyr Gibbs is recovering well from a hamstring injury and is expected to return to practice next week, according to head coach Dan Campbell.
Gibbs, who had a strong rookie season, suffered the injury during training but is on track to rejoin the team before their season opener against the Los Angeles Rams.
Other injured players, including Pro Bowl tight end Sam LaPorta and offensive tackle Dan Skipper, are also anticipated to return in time for the game.
