The Jacksonville Jaguars face a significant setback as tight end Evan Engram is set to miss the remainder of the 2024 season due to a shoulder injury. Head coach Doug Pederson confirmed that Engram will undergo surgery to repair his labrum.
This injury marks the fourth offensive starter the Jaguars have lost to injured reserve this season, following wide receivers Christian Kirk and Gabe Davis, and quarterback Trevor Lawrence. In his nine games this year, Engram recorded 47 receptions and one touchdown.
With Engram sidelined, the Jaguars will rely on second-year tight end Brenton Strange to step up in his absence.
