The Jacksonville Jaguars are actively narrowing their coaching search, having scheduled interviews with three candidates: Tampa Bay offensive coordinator Liam Coen, Las Vegas defensive coordinator Patrick Graham, and former New York Jets coach Robert Saleh. The interviews are set to take place this week in Jacksonville with team management, including owner Shad Khan and general manager Trent Baalke.
Coen, who finished his first season with the Buccaneers, had a remarkable offense, ranking third in the NFL in yardage. Graham, with extensive experience as a defensive coach, faced challenges with the Las Vegas Raiders' performance last season. Saleh previously served as the Jaguars' linebackers coach and has head coaching experience with the Jets.
The Jaguars missed out on Ben Johnson, who became the Chicago Bears' head coach, and potentially lost interest in another candidate, Aaron Glenn, who has interviews lined up with the New Orleans Saints and the New York Jets. The Jaguars may revisit talks with Joe Brady, Kellen Moore, or Steve Spagnuolo, who cannot be interviewed until next week due to their ongoing involvement in playoff action.
