Jacksonville Jaguars rookie tight end Patrick Murtagh suffered a broken right ankle during practice, requiring an air cast to be carted off the field.
The injury occurred during a goal-line drill, causing concern among teammates and onlookers. Murtagh was part of the NFL’s International Player Pathway Program and was making strides in his football career.
Before joining the Jaguars, he spent time with the Detroit Lions but had to leave due to a medical issue. Additionally, tackle Cam Robinson was also injured, leaving the team with challenges on the offensive line.
