The Jacksonville Jaguars have bolstered their linebacker corps by signing Anthony Pittman from the Detroit Lions to their practice squad. To accommodate this addition, safety Andre Chacher has been released.
Pittman, who joined the NFL as an undrafted rookie in 2019, played 52 games with the Lions, contributing significantly on special teams. He had a brief stint with the Washington Commanders before joining the Jaguars.
As injuries have affected the linebacker position, Pittman could find opportunities to play alongside other backups as the Jaguars aim to improve from their current record.
