In the midst of the chaos in Kansas City on Wednesday, Chiefs offensive lineman Trey Smith shared his WWE replica championship belt with a young boy during a mass shooting at the team's Super Bowl parade. Smith and some teammates helped bystanders find shelter and he credited another player for keeping people calm. Smith handed the belt to a frightened boy, telling him he's the champion and they talked about wrestling.
Kansas City Police Chief Stacey Graves said one person died and 22 more were wounded in the shooting. The city will come out stronger as a result.
