Aidan O’Connell, the quarterback for the Las Vegas Raiders, is recovering from a knee injury sustained during a recent game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Coach Antonio Pierce indicated that O’Connell will participate in a walkthrough practice but has not confirmed if he will start in the upcoming game against the Atlanta Falcons.
If O’Connell is unable to play, Desmond Ridder, who previously played for the Falcons, will take the helm. The Raiders have also activated Carter Bradley from the practice squad as a precautionary measure due to ongoing injuries.
Additionally, running back Alexander Mattison is expected to return from an ankle injury, although Sincere McCormick, who performed well in Mattison's absence, will continue as the starting back.
