The Las Vegas Raiders have officially released cornerback Jack Jones after unsuccessful trade attempts. Jones, a former fourth-round pick, had a strong performance last season with 16 starts, 69 tackles, three interceptions, and 16 passes defensed.

However, his coverage struggles became evident, as quarterbacks targeting him achieved a 60.7% completion rate and allowed ten touchdown passes against him. He is now available as a free agent without the stipulation of a compensatory pick for signing him.
