The New York Giants have made significant roster changes by placing defensive lineman Dexter Lawrence II and tight end Theo Johnson on injured reserve due to season-ending injuries. Lawrence, who was having an All-Pro season with nine sacks, suffered a dislocated elbow, while Johnson ended his rookie year with 29 receptions and one touchdown but is sidelined with a foot injury.
To fill the void, the Giants have signed defensive tackle Cory Durden from the Los Angeles Rams’ practice squad. Durden, who had a notable college career at Florida State and North Carolina State, brings depth to the defensive line after spending time on the Rams' practice squad.
