The Miami Dolphins have taken steps to solidify their roster by tendering exclusive rights free agents Cameron Goode and Kion Smith. Both players will return to the 90-man roster for offseason workouts and training camps as they aim for a spot on the final roster ahead of the 2025 season.

Cameron Goode, a 2022 seventh-round draft pick, is known for his contributions on special teams, despite limited defensive playtime. He had a promising rookie season but faced a setback with a ruptured patellar tendon during a game against the Buffalo Bills, which hindered his 2024 season. Goode’s role will likely be influenced by new special teams coordinator Craig Aukerman.

Kion Smith was also hindered by injuries, having torn his ACL prior to the previous season. After spending time on the practice squad, he made the 53-man roster in 2023 and participated in nine games. Smith has primarily played tackle but exhibited versatility by starting at guard before his injury.
