Kendall Lamm, a seasoned offensive lineman, has signed a one-year contract with the Philadelphia Eagles, extending his career beyond what he anticipated. Initially considering retirement, Lamm's journey took a turn after a call from the reigning Super Bowl champions. At 33, he aims to compete for a backup position on the Eagles’ offensive line, especially after the team lost its top swing tackle in free agency.

Despite a troublesome back injury that saw him end last season on injured reserve, Lamm's versatility as both a left and right tackle makes him a valuable asset. Having previously excelled in pass protection with the Miami Dolphins, Lamm will have the chance to prove his worth in a revamped Eagles lineup that has also added Kenyon Green for the upcoming season.
