Offensive lineman Donovan Jackson has been drafted by the Minnesota Vikings with the No. 24 overall pick in the NFL Draft, becoming the second Ohio State player selected this year after Emeka Egbuka.

Jackson transitioned to left tackle for the second half of last season after Josh Simmons suffered a knee injury. His versatility has elevated his draft stock, although NFL teams primarily view him as a guard. With a franchise left tackle in Christian Darrisaw, Jackson is poised to start at left guard, filling a key position in the Vikings' line. In his college career, he allowed just five sacks over 53 games.
