Daniel Jones, the quarterback for the New York Giants, ended a 672-day touchdown drought at MetLife Stadium by throwing a two-yard touchdown to tight end Chris Manhertz against the Washington Commanders.
Remarkably, Jones had zero passing yards during the game at one point, making him the first player since 2000 to achieve a touchdown without any passing yards in a half. Despite this, the Giants trailed 21-7 at halftime and are struggling with a 2-6 record.
