The Washington Commanders are adjusting their defensive line roster due to injuries. Defensive linemen Jonathan Allen and Javonte Jean-Baptiste have been placed on injured reserve, with Allen undergoing season-ending surgery.

To bolster the defensive line, the Commanders signed free agent Jalyn Holmes and promoted Sheldon Day from the practice squad. Veteran Carl Davis has also joined the practice squad. Both Holmes and Day are set to compete against the Carolina Panthers in Week 7.
