After the NFL draft, the Eagles shared a look inside their war room during a trade with the Commanders for Cooper DeJean with Adam Peters. Negotiating with Howie Roseman was a challenge, as shown in the video.

Roseman and Peters had a back-and-forth before settling on picks 50, 53, and 161 for picks 40, 78, and 152. Despite the negotiations, the Eagles were able to draft DeJean, Hunt, and Smith.
