The Philadelphia Eagles have placed tight end Albert Okwuegbunam Jr. and rookie receiver Ainias Smith on injured reserve.
Okwuegbunam is expected to miss 6-8 weeks due to surgery, while Smith is projected to return in 4-6 weeks following an ankle injury.
The team now relies on Dallas Goedert and Grant Calcaterra at tight end after releasing E.J. Jenkins.
