The Philadelphia Eagles have signed Michael Clay to a contract extension after he turned around the team's special teams unit in 2023. The Eagles finished in the top 10 in multiple special teams categories and were ranked No. 1 in special teams DVOA. Punter Braden Mann and kicker Jake Elliott set franchise records, while punt returner Britain Covey led the league in punt return yards.

All three Eagles coordinators, including Clay, are now signed through 2024.
