The Philadelphia Eagles are nearing the return of offensive tackle Jordan Mailata, as they have opened his 21-day practice window following a hamstring injury sustained in Week 6 against the Cleveland Browns.

Mailata's injury occurred during a game where he felt discomfort after a field goal attempt. He aggravated it while pursuing Browns safety Rodney McLeod. Fred Johnson has been filling in for Mailata, but the Eagles may choose to be cautious and allow Mailata to fully recover before returning to play.
