In a challenging season opener, Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love suffered a lower leg injury in the closing seconds of a 34-29 defeat to the Philadelphia Eagles in São Paulo, Brazil.
Despite showing signs of improvement while heading to the locker room, Love required support from trainers and teammate Josh Jacobs. Coach Matt LaFleur was unable to provide updates on Love's condition during his postgame remarks.
Love's injury occurred as he attempted to lead a final drive, resulting in a significant twist to his leg during a hit from two Eagles defenders. Malik Willis stepped in to finish the game for the Packers.
