Jalen Hurts is set to start for the Philadelphia Eagles against the Green Bay Packers in the wild-card round after successfully clearing concussion protocol. Head coach Nick Sirianni confirmed Hurts’ return, marking a significant boost for the Eagles as they aim to secure their second playoff victory in four seasons.
Hurts, who had been sidelined for the last two games due to a concussion sustained in Week 16 against the Washington Commanders, participated in practice as a limited participant on Wednesday before upgrading to a full participant on Thursday. The Eagles managed to win both games without him, with Kenny Pickett and Tanner McKee stepping in at quarterback.
In addition, wide receiver A.J. Brown is also expected to play after overcoming a knee issue. His presence alongside Hurts will be crucial for Philadelphia’s playoff aspirations.
