Spencer Shrader is set to take over as the New York Jets' kicker for their upcoming game against the Arizona Cardinals, following the release of Riley Patterson. Interim coach Jeff Ulbrich praised Shrader's kicking ability, noting his strong performance in practice.

The Jets have also added Anders Carlson to their practice squad, who previously played for the San Francisco 49ers. Meanwhile, Greg Zuerlein has struggled this season and is currently on injured reserve.
