Connor Williams, the starting center for the Seattle Seahawks, has announced his retirement at just 27 years old. This decision comes after a solid career where he started every game for Seattle following a significant knee injury during his tenure with the Miami Dolphins.
Williams had signed a one-year deal with the Seahawks in March and played in all nine games of the 2024 season. He will be succeeded by Olu Oluwatimi in the starting lineup. Coach Mike Macdonald stated that Williams' retirement was due to personal reasons, not his knee injury.
