The Seattle Seahawks have added veteran offensive lineman Jason Peters to their practice squad, marking a potential milestone as he aims for his 20th season in the NFL.
Peters, 42, previously played part of last season with the Seahawks, making two starts. He has had an impressive career, playing in at least one game for 19 seasons since his debut in 2004, despite missing the entire 2012 season due to injury.
This signing comes as the Seahawks deal with injuries to right tackles Abraham Lucas and George Fant, making Peters a valuable depth addition.
