Seattle Seahawks tackle George Fant has been placed on injured reserve, sidelining him for a minimum of four games. Initially signed in March to reinforce the offensive line during Abraham Lucas's recovery from knee surgery, Fant suffered his own injury during the season opener.
The Seahawks are now facing depth challenges on the offensive line, with Stone Forsythe set to start at right tackle. In response to Fant's injury, the team signed McClendon Curtis from the practice squad.
Additionally, edge rusher Tyus Bowser and linebacker Patrick O'Connell have been promoted due to several players being listed as questionable. Bowser, who spent six seasons with the Baltimore Ravens, is anticipated to see plenty of action this week in his first NFL game since last season.
